Livestock Counting Systems was born out of a personal need from Francois Haasbroek. He wanted to know the numbers of his cattle at any given time. Together with Philip Opperman they brainstormed on how to achieve the goal, as what this system should be capable of doing.Ā
Philip Opperman was key in designing and building the original system as well as all other developments that has taken place since the first prototype was tested.Ā
